Mr. Dini is a registered engineer with 21 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and materials testing. He is responsible for geotechnical and geosynthetic design, and construction aspects of a wide range of projects.

DeKalb Medical Office Building
Design and construction inspection of auger cast-in-place friction piles for an 8-story
building in Dekalb County, Georgia.
Clairmont Place
Construction inspection of auger cast-in-place piles for a 7-story structure in Atlanta,
Georgia. Management of construction quality control testing.
Delta Credit Union
Senior Project Engineer for quality control testing aspects of the project. Project included
construction of a 4-story steel building supported on auger cast-in-place piles. Included
extensive subgrade stabilization for pavement areas. Option included use of

Windward Forest Office\Warehouse
Senior project manager for construction testing services on the project. Supervised all
aspects of quality control testing and inspection.
Crooked Creek Dam
Evaluation and design of a Category II embankment to be used as a regional detention
structure in Dekalb County, Georgia. Design included slope stability and seepage
analysis, evaluation of rock foundation and other geotechnical aspects.
Fulton County Pretrial Detention Center
Performed final geotechnical subsurface exploration for a 14-story building in Atlanta,
Georgia. Design included providing deep foundation design and underslab drainage.
Camp Barney Dam
Design and construction for rehabilitation of a 30 foot Category I (high hazard)
embankment in White County, Georgia. Design included seepage analysis, slope
stability, borrow study and other geotechnical aspects. Construction included monitoring
of subgrade preparation, drain installation, and embankment construction.
Northeast Georgia Regional Reservoir
Preliminary geotechnical subsurface explorations for proposed regional water supply
reservoir in Jackson County, Georgia. Evaluated four potential sites.
Horton Creek Dam
Evaluation and design of a 50-foot high Category I (high hazard) embankment for a water
supply reservoir in Fayette County, Georgia. Design included seepage analysis, slope
stability, borrow study and other geotechnical aspects.
8th Street Apartments
Geotechnical design for a proposed multi-story dormitory on the Georgia Tech Campus
in Atlanta, Georgia. Geotechnical design included providing foundation, site preparation
and earthwork recommendations.
Wesley Woods
Pavement evaluation of existing pavement for a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Evaluated
subgrade and pavement conditions, determined adequacy of the existing design. Provided
recommendations for rehabilitation and reconstruction of the pavement.
Georgia Power Network Underground
Performed subsurface exploration and construction testing. Project consisted of building
a development on uncontrolled deep fills in Atlanta, Georgia. Provided design
recommendations to allow building to be supported on shallow foundations, undercutting,
stabilization and earthwork. Construction included supervising implementation of design
recommendations.
Mount Moriah Road
Provided subsurface exploration for bridge and road in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
Provided recommendations for driven piles, earthwork, and pavement support.
AT&T Cooling Tower
Provided subsurface exploration and construction testing for a new cooling tower at the
Norcross, Georgia facility. Design recommendations included bracing system,
foundations and earthwork. Supervised construction testing for implementation of design
recommendations.
Georgia Institute of Technology Materials and Manufacturing Center
Provided subsurface exploration for a new development on the Georgia Tech Campus. Design
recommendations included shallow and deep foundations for two single-story and three
eight-story buildings, site preparation and earthwork.
Ricoh Toner Plant
Provided subsurface exploration and construction testing for a new manufacturing plant
and office in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Design recommendations included shallow
foundations with a detailed settlement analysis, site preparation and earthwork.
Supervised construction testing for implementation of design recommendations.
Snellville Shopping Center
Design recommendations for a retail center in Snellville, Georgia. Design
recommendations included shallow foundations, site preparation, pavement design and
earthwork, which included working with poor quality soils and shallow groundwater.
Loganville High School
Provided subsurface exploration and construction testing for a new high school in
Loganville, Georgia. Design recommendations included shallow foundations, site
preparation and earthwork. Supervised construction testing for implementation of design
recommendations.
Northridge Crossing
Performed design and construction testing for two tiered 20 feet high retaining walls
using Geoweb HDPE cellular confinement system. First wall to be constructed in
Georgia using the Geoweb system.
Lower Roswell Road Widening
Subsurface exploration for roadway and bridge in Cobb County, Georgia. Design
includes preparing a pavement design and recommendations for rehabilitation of existing
pavement, foundation and construction recommendations.
Discovery Boulevard over Nickajack Creek
Subsurface exploration for new road construction and bridge in Cobb County, Georgia.
Design includes recommendations for foundations, earthwork, pavement support and
construction recommendations.
Craver Dam
Design and construction for 55 feet high Category I (high hazard) embankment in
Habersham County, Georgia. Design included seepage analysis, slope stability, borrow
study and other geotechnical aspects.
Villages at Lake Ridge Dam
Category II embankment in Clayton County, Georgia. Performed construction inspection
for remediation of an existing earthen dam. Remediation included flattening of slopes,
installation of a new primary spillway and drainage system.
Vance Lake Dam
Evaluation and geotechnical design for remediation of an existing earthen dam in
Cedartown, Georgia. Design included performing slope stability and seepage analysis.

Wal-Mart Distribution Center, LaGrange, Georgia.
Supervised four engineering
technicians while providing full-time quality control services including subgrade
evaluations, earthwork placement monitoring, soil density testing, footing
evaluations, reinforcing steel inspections, structural steel inspections, concrete
placement monitoring, concrete testing, batch plant inspection during concrete
placement operations, (on-site and off site), floor flatness measurement, site safety
coordinator. Earthwork totals exceeded 2,000,000 cubic yards and were excavated
and placed within a four month time period, and concrete was placed for a 1.5 million
square foot building in approximately 50 days.
Rabun County Landfill, Rabun County, Georgia.
Provided full-time quality
control services including subgrade evaluations, earthwork placement monitoring,
soil density testing, and taking/shipping samples for permeability testing for the
capping of closed landfill.
Lopez Canyon Landfill for the City of Los Angeles, Sylmar, California.
Supervised four personnel while providing full-time quality control services including
subgrade evaluation, earthwork placement monitoring, soil density testing,
taking/shipping samples for permeability testing, concrete monitoring and QA/QC in
deployment of geosynthetics for liner application. Also was responsible in aiding of
final report for the state and EPA.
Pates Creek Dam, Jonesboro, Georgia.
Provided full-time quality control services
including monitoring earthwork, chimney drain installation, settlement plate
installations, toe drains installation, bentonite key way installation, density testing and
concrete testing.
Union Camp, Savannah, Georgia.
Supervised 3 engineering technicians while
providing full-time lead technician services for quality control of foundations for pulp
digester vessel, 4 60,000 gallon storage tanks, also provided services including
directing demucking operations, directed underdrain systems installations, stone
stabilization, utility line backfill, reinforcing steel inspection, monitoring earthwork,
pile monitoring, concrete placement monitoring and testing, laboratory testing of soils
and concrete, and scheduling of support services required on the project.
Georgia Pacific Parking Deck, Atlanta, Georgia.
Provided full-time quality
control services including reinforcing steel inspections, post tensioning cable
inspections and recordings, soil density testing, monitored/controlled concrete
placement operations and testing.
Archery and Cycle Venue for the Olympic Games, Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Provided full-time quality control services including subgrade evaluations,
monitoring rockfill placement, soil density testing, underdrain installation, and
concrete testing.

MARTA Perimeter Center Station, Dunwoody Station, CF 412 Line Section, Atlanta, Georgia.
Supervised 4 engineering technicians while providing full-time
lead technician services for quality control services including, subgrade evaluations,
demucking operations, reinforcing steel inspections, Construction Materials
compliance testing/approval, monitoring earthwork, concrete placement monitoring
and testing, asphalt monitoring and testing. Also aided MARTA inspectors in their
inspection effort.
MARTA/Georgia 400, Atlanta, Georgia.
Provided full time inspection services for
MARTA during construction of the MARTA Corridor from I-285 to I-85 during the
construction of the Georgia 400 roadway project. Monitored pile driving, monitored
blasting operations, along existing MARTA railway structures. Provided
coordination between GDOT and MARTA for review of pay applications, verified
quantities, provided weekly reports for MARTA construction manager.
